“The 2016 EMMAUS Cabernet Sauvignon shows all of the hallmarks of our meticulously managed hillside estate: dark black-purple color with remarkable opacity, high-toned fruit aromas of raspberry, black cherry, and fresh cut flowers, as solid framework of tannin, along with clarity and focus. This vintage is incredibly generous directly from the bottle, with the tannins being rounded, silky, and approachable. At the same time, the wine’s structure, while graceful, provides the ability to develop in bottle for twenty years or more.
